Yeoman, age 52 at time of death. Buried with Mary and his parents at entrance to Ecclesfield parish church.
Must have married first another Mary who died in 1736, so could not have been the William Parkin who married Mary Heal/Hall 8/12/1737 or Mary Wilkinson 13 Dec or Jan 1739,

The Elizabeth was possibly the maker of the sampler in 1764, but this is not very likely as samplers were generally made by children I think.

Elizabeth was aged 70 at the time of her death and was buried with William near to the entrance to Ecclesfield church. This would imply that she was born at some time between September 1674 and September 1675
There are two possible optins for her origin, namely:
1. Elizabeth Parkin b 18/12/1673 and married 19 November 1705
2. Elizabeth Beaumont married on 31 December 1707
