Will and probate of John Haigh of Carkoate [presumably Carlecoates] CM/763 19 Dec 1637
He leaves William, his eldest son the houses and lands of Nicholas Beaman, deceased, of Lockwood for £40, to his wife Elizabeth, having her dowry, a third part of his goods; to William Haigh £20 of goods; to John his 3rd son all his buildings and lands in the occupation of Thomas Haigh his son, with one other noutt house adjoining and one house late of Edmond Broadheade adjoining and all his lands late John Wordsworths for £20; if he dies without heirs, to Francis Haigh his youngest son; to said Francis £120; to Thomas his second son £5; to William Wordsworth his son-in-law and Ann his wife £5; Various bequests to his grandchildren and godchildren.
