Reciting that Baskerville and wife Mary by Mortgage, 1-2 February 1742/3 conveyed to 1. m. or tmts. called Hendry (John Watkins), Pencastle (Edward Watkins), 2 called Trevaughan and Tyregething (Mary Baskerville), Pengarege (Rice Price), p. Aberedow, to secure 500 pounds and interest. Reciting that Baskerville and Hooper had conveyed part of same premises to augmentation of churches or curacies of Chappell Ylltid [Capel Illtud] and Rhyd Bryw, co. Brecon'.
b) Default in repayment.
c) Account, even date, shows 200 pounds due.

Her memorial stone implies that she was born in 1725 rather than 1720. This would have made her aged just 17 when she married James

"Sacred to the memory of JAMES BASKERVILLE of this parish Gent. Who died May 7th 1792 aged 65 years. Also MARY his wife who died May 6th 1808 aged 83 years.
Also ELIZABETH BASKERVILLE daughter of the above JAMES & MARY BASKERVILLE who died Feby 9th 1820 aged 73 years. This monument is erected by William NEWCOMB of brecon Grandson of the above JAMES & MARY BASKERVILLE"
